Importing a document

ReadFlow accepts PDF, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown files up to 20 MB. Scanned PDF pages use OCR in your browser. Choose English, Hindi, or both before upload; language data downloads on first use. Google Drive imports require sign-in and access to the file you select.

Syncing and migration

Sign in to sync documents and reading positions. Open Account management from your avatar to move existing browser documents with “Sync browser documents” or retry pending uploads. ReadFlow keeps a browser copy until each document and its reading position sync successfully. Sync requires an internet connection.

Bookmarks, notes, and offline reading

Select a sentence in the reader to bookmark or highlight it, or add a private note in the Saved tab. Tags organize documents in your library. Signed-in users can select up to 10 synced documents (100 MB total) for offline reading on a device with a retained session. Browser storage can be cleared by your browser or device.

Account data

Open Account management from your avatar. Choose “Export my data” to download a ZIP containing cloud documents, original PDFs, browser and pending copies, reading progress, tags, bookmarks, highlights, and notes. Choose “Delete account” to remove cloud documents, Storage files, reading progress, and this account's pending or duplicate browser copies. Local-only documents that were never added to the account stay in the browser. Deletion cannot be undone.

Web links and speech

Public web-page import requires sign-in. Some sites block automated requests or require a subscription, and dynamic pages may not import. Speech voices are supplied by your browser and operating system, so the available voices and sound quality vary by device.
